Files you upload: Most tools (merge, split, rotate, watermark, image-to-PDF, PDF-to-image, extract text, ZIP, viewers) work entirely on your device. Your files never touch our server.
Three tools use our backend server: Compression (balanced/aggressive modes), Password protection, and DOCX/XLSX/PPTX to PDF conversion. For these, the file is uploaded to our server, processed, sent back to you, and deleted from our server immediately. We do not log file names, contents, or any metadata.
We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It tells us how many people visited, which pages they viewed, and which country they came from. It does not track you across websites and does not collect personal data.
Uploaded files: Deleted immediately after processing. Never stored.
Server logs: Standard HTTP logs (IP, timestamp, endpoint) are retained by our hosting provider for up to 7 days for security purposes. No file content is ever logged.
Because we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to delete or export. If you have concerns, contact us at the email below.
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of PDF Coffer means you accept the latest policy.
